REALIZING EVERYONE’S FAKING IT—JUST DIFFERENTLY.

Follow for more raw truths about navigating life post-campus!

We all stepped onto those hallowed grounds with a certain glow, a promise. The campus bubble was intense, a crucible of ambition and intellect. We knew we were exceptional, destined for… something big. Then graduation hit. And suddenly, the perfectly curated LinkedIn profiles of our peers started telling stories we hadn't quite anticipated.

That 'weird transition' from campus to career? Nobody really warned us that it often involves more existential dread than six-figure offers. We see our Ivy friends, and sometimes, their journeys don't look like the linear success stories we were all implicitly promised. Maybe it’s a non-Ivy job, a pivot, or simply a period of figuring things out – which feels strangely forbidden after years of structured achievement.

The biggest revelation? Realizing everyone’s faking it—just differently. That polished veneer, that confident stride, that seemingly perfect trajectory? It's often a carefully constructed performance. Beneath it, we're all grappling with imposter syndrome, unexpected challenges, and the quiet fear of not measuring up. It’s okay to admit the struggle, to acknowledge that the path isn't always clear, even for us. That shared vulnerability is perhaps the most authentic connection we have.
