We spent years thriving in a unique ecosystem, surrounded by brilliant minds and boundless ambition. Our campuses were incubators, shaping us for what we believed would be a clear, upward trajectory. Then came the 'real world,' and suddenly, that smooth transition we were promised feels more like a clumsy leap into the unknown. Nobody truly warned us about this phase of "From Campus to Career."

You put that prestigious institution on your résumé, expecting it to be a universally recognized badge of honor, an immediate door-opener. And often, it is. But then there are the moments, aren't there? That slight pause, the raised eyebrow, the immediate shift in conversation, or that subtle, almost imperceptible judgment in someone's eyes when they hear where you went to school. "Ivy League on the Résumé" sometimes feels less like a superpower and more like a social experiment.

It's not always outright hostility, but it's definitely a 'look.' A look that suggests you either had it too easy, or you're somehow different, perhaps even out of touch. It makes you wonder if you should just say "a university in the Northeast" next time. It's a weird, unexpected layer to navigating your early career, navigating life outside the bubble. You're not alone in feeling this peculiar shift in perception. Let's talk about it.
